Chengdu, March 26, 2026 – The 2nd Panda Vision International Film Festival concluded today at Cogdel School Chengdu in Anren Ancient Town, celebrating the creativity and vision of young filmmakers from around the world. The festival, one of China's few film events dedicated exclusively to middle and high school students under 19, announced its winners across 14 award categories.
This year's festival received 606 submissions from 64 countries and regions, with 49 films officially selected for screening across four categories: Narrative, Documentary, Experimental, and One-Minute Films.

A Celebration of Youth Cinema
Festival brought together young filmmakers from around the world for a red carpet ceremony, public screenings and a masterclass led by acclaimed filmmaker Chen Xinzhong.
Attendees also had the opportunity to experience the rich culture of Anren Ancient Town.
"This festival is more than a competition — it's a community, a learning experience, and a celebration of youth creativity," said the festival organizing committee. "We are inspired by the stories these young filmmakers have shared with us and look forward to seeing what they create next."
About the Festival
The Panda Vision International Film Festival (PVIFF) was founded in 2025 at Cogdel School Chengdu, Sichuan, China. Dedicated exclusively to filmmakers under 19 who are current middle or high school students, the festival provides a global platform for young storytellers to showcase their cinematic vision. The name "Panda Vision" pays tribute to Sichuan's iconic giant panda, symbolizing curiosity, creativity, and global connection.
